Shannon Larsen

Involved in the world of self-healing and growth through yoga for the past 9 years, Shannon has completed 350 Yoga Alliance approved teacher training hours under mentor Julie Rader through the Mukti Yoga School located in Los Angeles, California. Her specialized training hours include Therapeutics, Yoga for Athletes, and study in meditation and pranayama. She also has completed additional training hours in Kids Yoga from Smiling Monkey in Orange County and Trauma Informed Yoga through The Art of Yoga Project, Bay Area, California.

Her teaching career began in Los Angeles and today continues to teach in the Bay Area and internationally through yoga retreats. Always a student of both instructors and self-study, Shannon continues to increase her personal awareness of not only body but meditation, spirituality, and consciousness. It is her goal to continually integrate more tools into her teaching as she gains more knowledge herself. She feels blessed to have worked with many different students including college athletes, youth in Juvenille Hall, patients seeking therapeutic healing, and studio/gym members. You can expect when working with Shannon a safe space to observe and settle the mind, to challenge the body safely, to surprise yourself, to laugh, and to heal. <3
